Conventional farming does not cut it.
The only durable conventional (plough based) agriculture was in ancient Egypt. Fed by topsoil washed down from Ethiopia. Even that did not end well.
Fertile crescent no more
Regrettably we are not learning very quickly
Soil loss = financial depression.
But there is a way to feed ourselves and save the planet.
